The NorthStar Knights are excited to share that alumni Bookie Warshaw has committed to play NCAA Division III hockey at Concordia University Wisconsin. Warshaw, a 5-foot-6, 160-pound forward from Gilbert, Arizona, played for the Knights during the 2023 – 24 season and was a key offensive contributor during his time in Alexandria.

Warshaw appeared in 50 games for the Knights, recording 41 points (19G, 22A) and establishing himself as one of the team’s most dynamic forwards. Following his season with the Knights, he advanced to the junior level with the Idaho Falls Spud Kings of the National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC), where he has continued to elevate his game. During the 2024-25 season, he totaled 25 points (8G, 17A) in 43 games and helped lead the team to the postseason. This season, Warshaw has taken another step forward offensively, posting 34 points (15G, 19A) in 42 games and continuing to be a key forward in the Spud Kings lineup.

Idaho Falls Head Coach Anthony Bohn praised Warshaw’s growth and impact within the Spud Kings organization. “We can’t be more proud of Bookie and the Warshaw family for his commitment. Bookie has grown as a player during his time in Idaho Falls, but more importantly he’s grown as a person. He has been such an important piece to our franchise the last two seasons, and we look forward to seeing him continue his development for the rest of the year and what he will accomplish in his college hockey future.”

At Concordia, Warshaw will join fellow NorthStar alumni Kaleb Pitman (‘23) and Blaise Miller (‘21), continuing the growing Knights presence within the Concordia hockey program. With Warshaw’s commitment, NorthStar has now advanced 35 players to Division 1 and 3 Universities.

“I chose Concordia because it feels like somewhere I can really grow at and call home for the next four years,” Warshaw said. “I’m very excited for the upcoming years and blessed to have this opportunity. I’d like to thank God, my family, and my coaches for all of the support and help along the way!”

The entire NorthStar Knights family congratulates Bookie on his commitment to Concordia University. His continued growth at the junior level and dedication to his development have prepared him well for this next opportunity, and we look forward to watching him succeed at the collegiate level.
