Current 16U NorthStar Knight Hunter Rudolph has committed to play Division I hockey at St. Cloud State University. Rudolph who currently leads the 16U Knights in scoring with 16 goals and 18 assists also led the 16U Knights team in scoring during the 2023-2024 season with 27 goals and 30 assists. The 5-8 160lb West Fargo, ND native has proven to be a dynamic offensive threat for the Knights during his time at the academy.
Hunter, who also serves as a Captain on the 16U team, has thus far propelled the knights to a 13-5 record. “Hunters dedication and abilities in hockey have grown tremendously within the last year while developing his character. His leadership this season has impacted our team and St. Cloud is getting a great young man and player!” said Dallas Steward, the Knights 16U head coach. Rudolph, who was also drafted by the Tri City Storm of the USHL last year went on to say “I choose St. Cloud State University because of the culture, hockey, and the opportunity to grow with like-minded people. The coaching staff is amazing and really made it a no brainer.”
