The NorthStar Knights are proud to announce that defenseman Jack Bathe has signed a tender with the Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League. Bathe joined the Knights this season from Scarborough, Maine and has made an immediate impact on the blue line with his physicality and poise. Through 23 games this season, Bathe has recorded 13 points (3G, 10A) as a defenseman.
“Jack is an old school D who plays the game hard but can also move the puck,” said 18U Prep Head Coach Rylan Galiardi. “Since the day he committed to NorthStar he has been ‘all in’ in every facet. Jack has been a joy to coach, and he is continuing to grow into a great NorthStar Knight. We look forward to continuing to join in his development the rest of this season.”
Bathe’s tender marks another milestone for the Knights’ program as it continues to develop young men who compete with excellence and purpose. His signing marks the 47th NAHL tender for the Knights in 8 seasons.
“Im thankful for Shreveport giving me this opportunity and I can’t wait to get down there and compete”, Bathe said. “I’m looking forward to good hockey, playing in a good league, and getting the opportunity to keep playing the game I love at such a level.”
The entire Knights family congratulates Jack on this exciting next step in his hockey journey and looks forward to seeing all he accomplishes in Shreveport and beyond!
