Kannon Taylor Signs with Chilliwack Chiefs
The NorthStar Knights are proud to announce that 18U AAA forward Kannon Taylor has signed with the Chilliwack Chiefs of the BCHL.
Taylor has been an important offensive contributor for the Knights, bringing a strong two-way game, high compete level, and consistent leadership to the lineup throughout the season. His combination of speed, playmaking ability, and hockey sense has made him a reliable presence in all situations.
The Tacoma, Washington native continued to elevate his game during the 2025–26 season, earning recognition for his work ethic and ability to produce offensively while playing a responsible 200-foot game. Taylor’s commitment to development and team-first mentality have been key parts of his growth both on and off the ice.
The BCHL is recognized as one of the premier junior hockey leagues in North America and provides a high-level development path for players pursuing NCAA Division I and professional hockey opportunities. Chilliwack represents an outstanding next step for Taylor as he continues his hockey journey.

Larkin Signs with Dubuque Fighting Saints
The NorthStar Knights are proud to announce that 16U AAA forward Jack Larkin has signed a USHL Standard Player Development Agreement with the Dubuque Fighting Saints for the 2026–27 season.
Larkin has been a dynamic offensive contributor for the Knights throughout the 2025–26 season, showcasing a strong combination of skill, compete level, and hockey IQ. The Fargo, North Dakota native consistently created offense with his speed, vision, and ability to make plays in high-pressure situations.
During the 2025–26 season, Larkin recorded 58 points in 58 games for NorthStar, including 25 goals, while also earning affiliate opportunities with Dubuque during the season.
Selected by Dubuque in the second round (28th overall) of the 2025 USHL Phase I Draft, Larkin’s development and work ethic have continued to elevate his game. Standing at 5-foot-10 and shooting right-handed, he has established himself as a reliable two-way forward capable of impacting the game in all three zones.
The USHL is widely regarded as the premier junior hockey league in the United States, providing elite competition and a direct pathway to NCAA Division I and professional hockey. Dubuque represents an outstanding opportunity for Larkin to continue his growth both on and off the ice.

Knights Alum Ben Strinden Signs Pro Contract with Milwaukee Admirals of the AHL
Ben Strinden’s hockey journey has taken him from NorthStar Christian Academy to the professional ranks, as he has signed an AHL contract with the Milwaukee Admirals following his college career at the University of North Dakota.
A former NorthStar Christian Academy Knight, Strinden built his foundation as a dependable two-way player known for his work ethic and leadership. He continued to develop at Muskegon (USHL) and North Dakota, competing against top collegiate talent and growing into a consistent, reliable forward.
His efforts earned him the opportunity to take the next step with the Admirals, the AHL affiliate of the Nashville Predators. The signing marks a significant milestone in Strinden’s career and the beginning of his professional journey.
From his early days as a Knight to his time at North Dakota, Strinden’s path reflects steady development and dedication—qualities he now brings to the pro level.
Jack Bathe Tenders with Shreveport Mudbugs

The NorthStar Knights are proud to announce that defenseman Jack Bathe has signed a tender with the Shreveport Mudbugs of the North American Hockey League. Bathe joined the Knights this season from Scarborough, Maine and has made an immediate impact on the blue line with his physicality and poise. Through 23 games this season, Bathe has recorded 13 points (3G, 10A) as a defenseman.
“Jack is an old school D who plays the game hard but can also move the puck,” said 18U Prep Head Coach Rylan Galiardi. “Since the day he committed to NorthStar he has been ‘all in’ in every facet. Jack has been a joy to coach, and he is continuing to grow into a great NorthStar Knight. We look forward to continuing to join in his development the rest of this season.”
Bathe’s tender marks another milestone for the Knights’ program as it continues to develop young men who compete with excellence and purpose. His signing marks the 47th NAHL tender for the Knights in 8 seasons.
“Im thankful for Shreveport giving me this opportunity and I can’t wait to get down there and compete”, Bathe said. “I’m looking forward to good hockey, playing in a good league, and getting the opportunity to keep playing the game I love at such a level.”
